My Darling Weirdo translates diverse musical tastes and background into genre-blending music combining analog and electronic elements. Songs span electronic, ambient, noise rock, and shoegaze with pointed and impressionistic lyrics intentionally left open to interpretation for the listener. Textural guitars are used to create depth. Members are multi-instrumentalists and are always refining the approach to instruments that they can incorporate. MDW is constantly and intentionally experimenting and evolving its sound.
